Pastor Maurice Lattimore, a recipient of the Woodson Center Mini Grant and Founder of Feet on the Street Ministries (FOTSM) in Atlanta, GA is showering his underserved community with love and hope.
Through innovative initiatives like providing homeless women and men clean clothes, linking them to employment and housing opportunities, and making mobile shower trailers available, Pastor Lattimore aims to uplift individuals out of homelessness and guide them towards a prosperous and fulfilling life.
“Thanks to the support from the Woodson Center, we utilized the funds to construct an ADA-compliant handicap shower featuring a ramp,” said Pastor Lattimore. “ As a result, we are now the sole provider of ADA-accessible shower trailers in Atlanta.”
Since March of 2021, Pastor Latimore has been able to serve over 6,000 men and women!
FOTSM also provides education, training, and coordinated services that can “plug” the marginalized community to the resources needed to assist them to get back on their feet.
