Mr. Woodson clearly spoke and wrote as a person of deep and tested faith in the power of grace to heal and strengthen the broken places. . . . . .Surely Mr. Woodson belongs among an august group of leaders, including Mr. Steele and Thomas Sowell among others, who deserve to be recognized as elders of crucial wisdom in the cultural challenges that we continue to wrestle with today and for the foreseeable future.
