Curtis Watkins

A native of Washington DC, Curtis is the liaison for new community organizations and leaders to enhance the Woodson Center’s grassroots network across the country. He is responsible for cultivating, connecting, leveraging and integrating community assets and resources for partnership opportunities. He leads the hands-on assistance to youth and neighborhood groups, administering appropriate problem solving best practices related to their issues. Curtis has supported the Woodson Center initiatives since 1998, and was a community grassroots leader in the Washington DC and Prince Georges County region. He holds a Bachelor Science degree in Organizational Management and Counseling Psychology, as well as a Masters in Public Administration from Washington Adventist University. Curtis has two daughters living in metropolitan area.
