Stephanie has more than 30 years of extensive financial management experience in diversified accounting fields, with an emphasis in not-for-profit and governmental accounting. Currently the owner and principal of The Weston Group, Stephanie serves as a consultant to the Woodson Center, in Washington, D.C., as their Chief Financial Officer.
She is responsible for developing and implementing administrative and financial policies and systems while ensuring that the organization complies with all donor requirements and generally accepted principles relating to financial and administrative management.
Before founding The Weston Group, Stephanie was the Director of Finance & Administration for the National Center for Neighborhood Enterprise as well as other national and state organizations. Additionally, she has worked in public accounting in both West Virginia and Ohio.
Stephanie has a Bachelor’s Degree from Glenville State College. She has been a CPA since 1992 and a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) since 2012. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants & the WV Society of CPA’s.
Stephanie is married and has three step-children and six grandchildren. She serves as the Treasurer and Youth Leader for Murphytown Baptist Church, and as the Treasurer for the James Wood Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
