The Woodson Center Helps Establish the Creation House
Posted By Woodson Development Team

Elyria, OH – The Woodson Center helps Ohio-based affiliate, Beyond the Walls Church, renovate the un-used portion of their 62,000 square foot facility to establish Creation House, a place where those who are bound in poverty through drug addiction can find freedom. According to executive director Paul Grodell, “the vision for Creation House was birthed from seeing the epidemic of drug use, particularly heroin, in Lorain County. The statistics are staggering; most recently of which are the 37 deaths, and upwards of 60 overdoses, some ending in death, in the past month alone. Creation House seeks to be the answer for this poverty-stricken, drug-addicted community.” CNE’s support will help Beyond the Walls Church add a sprinkler system and bring the facility up to code as they prepare to open and provide residential services within the new recovery home.
